"Rhinoceros" Sculpture / Digital NFT Sculpture
Dimensions: 200x80x90h cm

This sculpture is the third piece in the series dedicated to animals on the brink of extinction due to human activities. The contrast between the pure white that envelops the rhinoceros and the glossy gold detail of its horns highlights the dual nature of this animal: a symbol of imposing strength, but also of extreme vulnerability.

The rhinoceros is depicted with its head lowered and its front legs firmly planted on the ground, as if sniffing the soil, yet it's engaged in an innocent game: its powerful horn becomes the target of a ring toss game. Four golden rings, crafted from intertwined rope and barbed wire, are perfectly centered on its horn, while others are scattered on the ground, symbolizing failed attempts.

This ironic and surreal representation transforms the emblem of its survival—the horns, for which it is brutally hunted—into a simple object of play, symbolizing the animal's innocence and, at the same time, the cruelty of human actions. The artwork invites the viewer to reflect on the contradiction between the rhinoceros's physical power and the fragility of its existence, threatened by poaching and habitat destruction.

The ingenuity of the gesture, combined with the contrast between the purity of the white and the symbolic hardness of the golden barbed wire, transforms this sculpture into a powerful metaphor for human responsibility, a warning against the "destructive game" that is leading to the disappearance of these magnificent creatures.
