This sculpture is the second piece in the series dedicated to animals on the verge of extinction due to human activities. The contrast between the pure white that envelops the lion and the glossy gold details—the tail tuft and claws—highlights the duality between the innocence of this magnificent animal and its invaluable worth to Earth's ecosystem.

The majestic lion is playfully crouched on a golden carpet. It holds two puzzle pieces in its jaws, unaware of the profound meaning of the golden puzzle it rests upon. The puzzle, composed of shimmering pieces, outlines the shape of Africa, symbolizing the continent that represents the ultimate expression of natural beauty, yet simultaneously is the stage for some of the most destructive human activities against nature.

Some pieces of the puzzle are slowly melting, like snow in the sun, symbolizing the gradual loss of the lion's natural habitat. The animal's innocent gesture of playing with what is disappearing, combined with the splendor of its golden claws, evokes a sense of preciousness and fragility.
